Slow Cooker Chicken, Gravy & Veggies
Chicken and gravy is a major winter staple. If you put it in the crockpot, it’s incredibly easy and then you can concentrate on other things all day besides dinner. Let this super easy dinner make itself. The best thing is that it costs under $5!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tsp. thyme
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1 Tbsp. diced garlic
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 chicken bouillion cube
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1-16 oz. bag frozen mixed vegetables
Directions:
- Grease the crockpot.
- Put the olive oil in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the chicken.
- Spoon spices and garlic over chicken.
- Add the rest of the ingredients.
- Cook on high for 5 hours.
- Add the frozen vegetables and cook for an additional 45 minutes.
- Serve over biscuits or toast.
- Tip: add more flour towards the end of the cook time if necessary.
